     Charles Taylor Robinson was born on 14 July 1857 in Punjab, India.¹ He was the son of Daniel George Robinson and Jane Amelia Graham. He married Maude Allen Wintle in 1887 in St George Hanover Square, London, England.² Charles was listed as head of household in the census of 19 June 1921 in Thornleigh, Curdridge, Botley, Hampshire, England, Charles was a retired Lt Col in the Indian Army living with his sister and two servants not sure where his wife was living. His brother Godfrey was listed as a visitor.³ He witnessed the probate of the estate of Edith Janey Robinson on 29 April 1926.⁴ Charles died on 7 December 1929 in Old Manor, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England, aged 72.^1,5,6 His estate was probated on 1 March 1930 Administration papers were issued in London to his widow Maude Allen Robinson. His effects were valued at £98 10s 6d.⁶

     Maude Allen Wintle was born on 29 April 1862. She married Charles Taylor Robinson, son of Daniel George Robinson and Jane Amelia Graham, in 1887 in St George Hanover Square, London, England.² Her husband Charles died on 7 December 1929 in Old Manor, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England, aged 72.^1,3,4 She witnessed the probate of the estate of Charles Taylor Robinson on 1 March 1930.⁴ On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Maude was listed as living at Southbourne Cottage, Droxford, Hampshire, England, Maude was living on private means with her daughter Eileen.⁵

     Ellen Maud Robinson was born on 21 May 1888 in Pietermaritz, Natal, South Africa.² She was the daughter of Charles Taylor Robinson and Maude Allen Wintle. On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Ellen Maud Robinson was listed as living at Southbourne Cottage, Droxford, Hampshire, England, with her parents.³ Her estate was probated on 29 April 1975 in Winchester. Her effects were valued at £1,453.⁴ Ellen died on 1 July 1975 in Abercom House, Hawley, Camberley, Surrey, England, aged 87.⁴

     James went to Bloefontein, then East London in South Africa. He worked as a journalist.^1,2 James Dallas was born in Dunfermline, Scotland.¹ He married Anne Ryan.

     Hilda Doris Hodgson was the daughter of Charles Ernest Hodgson and Emelene Poultney. Hilda died on 30 January 1949 in Pietersburg, Transvaal, South Africa.¹

     Bertie Wright was the son of L Wright and Amy Helen Greathead. Bertie was educated at University in England and he owned an old Douglas belt driven motorbike and that he leant to his cousin Ken. He was in the RAF during WWII.²

     Ann Greathead was born in 1833 in Bridge Hewick, Yorkshire, England.^1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Greathead and Elizabeth Johnson. She was baptised on 10 March 1833 in Danby Wiske, Yorkshire, England.¹ In the census of 6 June 1841 in Streetlam, Danby Wiske, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the daughter of Thomas Greathead.³ In the census of 30 March 1851 she was listed as the house servant to Christopher Allison a farmer and later a cow keeper.^1,4 She married John Horner in 1859 in St Thomas, Brompton, Northallerton, Yorkshire, England.^5,6 In the census of 31 March 1901 in West Tanfield, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the mother of William Horner.⁷ Ann died in 1903 in Knaresborough, Yorkshire, England.⁸

     Henry Percival Greathead was born on 19 August 1890 in Cape of Good Hope, South Africa.¹ He was the son of George Alfred Greathead and Florence Plewman. He was a mining engineer. Henry died on 31 October 1930 aged 40.¹

     John Hosking was born about 1834 his mother was Ann Hart 1809-1888 and his father Peter Hosking 1810-1849.² John may have arrived in Australia on 12 October 1856 on the Lady McDonald on an assisted programme.² He married Jane Collins, daughter of Charles Collins and Rose O'Neill, on 4 April 1861 in Australia John was a digger, from Cornwall.² John died about 1884 in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia.²

     Jane Collins was born about 1840 in County Antrim, Ireland.² She was the daughter of Charles Collins and Rose O'Neill.² Rose and her children migrated to Australia on an assisted program. They arrived in Melbourne in 1857 on the Lady Milton from Liverpool. Rose was listed as a housekeeper and she had a job in Bendigo waiting for her as a servant. Rose was 39, Jane17, Hugh 10, Sally 8, Charles 5 and Patrick 3 when they arrived.² She married John Hosking on 4 April 1861 in Australia John was a digger, from Cornwall.² Her husband John died on about 1884 in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia.² Jane died in 1900 in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia.²
